2014 may not seem that long ago, but 10 years encapsulates an entire decade of memories and milestones. One of those milestones for Reyes Beverage Group was when Allied Beverages officially became part of the company.

At the time, Reyes Beverage Group West operated out of the following distributorships: Harbor Distributing, Gate City Beverage and Crest Beverage, making Allied Beverages the fourth California company under the RBG umbrella.

Over the past 10 years, Allied Beverages has experienced notable growth and change. Shortly after joining Reyes Beverage Group, Allied Beverages opened a second state-of-the-art facility in Ventura, California. Four years later, in 2019, Allied Beverages added yet another location in Santa Maria, CA, operating as Allied Beverages - Central Coast.

In 2023, Allied Beverages, along with other select Reyes Beverage Group markets, became a total bev-alc distributor by adding full-strength spirits to its portfolio.

Along the way, Allied Beverages has increased its annual case equivalents by roughly five million. Even with its growth, the team has maintained a top-tier workplace culture.

Allied Beverages has received a Great Place To Work Certification® every year since 2016, all due to our employees who cultivate a culture of encouragement and continuous improvement.

From Friendsgiving to family fun days, team bonding events and tailgate celebrations, the Allied Beverages team ensures employees are engaged, having fun and promoting a positive environment, both at work and in their communities.

The team consistently gives back by collecting toy donations and canned food over the holidays, raising funds for breast cancer research, hosting beach cleanups and volunteering at local animal shelters, Habitat for Humanity and more.

Today, Allied Beverages is led by Terry Yost, General Manager. Yost began his career in the industry as a beer merchandiser over 20 years ago. Since then, he has held various sales management roles across the organization. When Reyes Beverage Group acquired Allied Beverages, Yost made the transition from on-premise sales manager at Gate City Beverage to vice president of sales at Allied Beverages.
